1966 British Technology Remploy Slogan

The relevance of this slogan is that the mini steering columns were assembled at the Remploy factory in Birmingham. This information was provided by a former Remploy Chief Executive. The slogan was listed by Bradbury, No.(13) for the issue, in the 2002 catalogue and discovered by a GBFDC member.

1985 Composers Royal Mail/CBSO/M&B Cover with Birmingham FDI

This interesting cover, a three way collaboration between Royal Mail, the City of Birmingham Syphony Orchestra and the brewer Mitchells & Butlers was produced to coincide with a special concert in Birmingham in connection with the launch of the Composers commemorative stamp issue. It was listed by Bradbury, (No.29) for the issue, in the 2002 catalogue and discovered by a GBFDC member.
