We are very proud of our postal auction, which we consider as good as if not better than most. Every auction includes an extensive range of British first day covers to suit all tastes. We currently run one large postal auction a year with around 1350 lots. We also have a BUY/BID sale with around 90 lots in every other newsletter.

Charges

The GBFDC postal auctions are self-financing by means of a small annual subscription for the auction catalogue and a commission on sales. Members and non-members alike are welcome to buy or sell covers. Members selling covers pay a commission of 10% of the final sale price and non-members pay 20%. There is no buyers' premium for non-members.
